Recap of August; September Plans

Hey guys, Cdog here, and I know I haven't been posting on this blog as much as I should of, but I'll try more often. Now with the start of September comes a monthly recap for August. I posted after July I really wanted to extend upon July's 814 view record into August, and little did I know I'd crush it. As of August 30, (that analytics only go that far so far, so I'll add an edit later on with the total view count) the month of August has accumulated 1,504 views! That is very impressive, and it pretty much is because of the Five Night's at Freddy's video I did. Who knew people would like to watch me scream so much. I am trying to get more Freddy's out there, but my facecam keeps crashing my video editor, otherwise the videos would be out by now.

Getting away from views, the month of August didn't garner enough minutes watched as much as July 2013, the record holder, did. August accumulated an estimated amount of 1 day and 15 hours worth of minutes, but that's 4 hours shy of July's record. However I still find this to be pretty dang good, and also considering this only trails said July. So thank you all for supporting my videos and watching them in August, even when I was busy with band and also starting up sophomore year of high school. In September I'll be equally as busy, especially with every Saturday I'll have a competition pretty much on that day, and Fridays I have football games to forcibly attend because the band has to go, so about the only TRUE day off I have is Sunday. I don't have another day off from school until Thanksgiving after Labor Day today as well (on the weekday that is).

So with all that said, thank you again for a successful August, and I look forward to September, where I plan on doing Attack of the B Team (it's not gonna be 1 episode alright, I had to rebuild my stuff and also I didn't have time especially while making the montage video). Freddy's I'll still try to get my videos out there I did, and also I have my birthday coming up in 2 weeks on September 15, so expect a little something then. Until then, goodbye!

Attack of the B Team Coming Soon and Thanks

Hey guys, Cdog here, and boy I need to post more often. However I've been busy with band and etc, but I've been able to get a few vids out there this month luckily. Which speaking of that, I want to say thank you for the huge view boost I'm getting for my Freddy's video. I knew the reaction was funny, but jeez I wasn't anticipating so many views so quickly! With that video, we can easily smash my goal of getting more views than July. July last month set the new monthly views record at 814, and this month already has around 720 views, and we're just about half done! So thanks once again, and I plan on doing more Freddy's because of the first video's popularity.

Now with that said comes the main point, Attack of the B Team. Mcfarlin finally got his server up and running about last week, so for about 5 days or so I've been constructing my home for the series, which is a big castle. I figured I'd go all out, and I'm building in survival, so it WILL take awhile. Regardless, however, I may still start the series while building it as it will take too long to finish. I currently got a headstart on Tinkers' Construct, but I don't want to keep it since I want to save it for the series. I was just using it to help me get materials to build with. With that, at times I will record by myself, but most of the time I'll be with mcfarlin in the video. The first video however will most likely be just me as I get a temporary workshop running in which I can start all my stuff there. One of my first goals is not only Tinkers' Construct, but also getting an auto-spawner, which means Imma gonna find a village and do something (which you can't find out yet). I'll also be messing with Witchery, Necromancy, Galacticraft, Project Red, Thermal Expansion, and all that jazz. I'm inspired by bebopvox's Modded Madness series as well as ridgedog's Yogscast Complete series, so I'm gonna run my series in a similar matter to the way they do it. In Modded Madness, they usually focus on a mod at a time, but most likely I won't do that, but I am inspired of how they work together in the series. With mcfarlin and I, I want to work like that, as in we both do something to complete an objective together to improve both of us. As for ridgedog's series, it will mainly play out whenever I'm recording alone, which will mean I probably won't show too many of the boring stuff and show what I did and the progress I'm making throughout the episode. Now if I'm exploring or whatever or something funny pops out and etc, then there will be exceptions. It'll work out later on as the series progresses, but keep in mind I'm not starting from square one as I already have some basic tools built so you don't have to see me start it ALL out.

So that is about it for this post. I plan on starting the series at least before school comes, which starts Tuesday for me. Keep in mind, I'll try to do this as often as possible as the first week of school usually isn't busy, but later on as we get more work, school WILL be my main focus. Until then, goodbye!

Upcoming Plans

Hey guys, Cdog here, and I can assure you I'm alright. Now its been almost a month since I posted on this blog, which I apologize, and also for not uploading anything for a few weeks. Now there is an explanation that is rather simple for that: I was on vacation last week, had no time for making videos before hand, and band camp currently going from 12 to 8 PM EST this week (yes I practice for 8 hours, insane isn't it?). But now I am trying to break out of that with some new stuff I hope to be doing soon.

So currently my plans reside on Modded Minecraft, which I hope to be doing Attack of the B team with mcfarlin eventually as he got a server for it. Now we were both playing on it and making videos a couple days before my vacation, but we agreed to discard it as he reset the world due to its glitchy nature. Recently though, he decided to change it to vanilla Minecraft to make it into a public server, which BTW you can check it with the IP theshire.beastmc.com. So he probably is in the works to create another server for mod packs, as I don't have the money nor will have it for awhile since my father is unemployed at the moment and he typically gives me a bit of money for mainly cutting my lawn. I HOPE to be doing Attack of the B Team soon though as it is a rather fun mod pack.

Now for other stuff. It has been forever since I've done any writing videos, but I plan on doing it more often. However I've been going through a lot of work lately and I haven't felt inspired or anything to write in a long time, which is rather unfortunate as I used to write all the time earlier this year. I did write one recently however I plan on improving talking about an experience of extreme social anxiety I once experienced in band that lead to a bit of depression for the day. It was not a great experience for me, as I was beginning to lose hope in my social abilities I guess you can call it. It's just that recently I've been struggling to think what is true about myself, and what I believe to be true to myself, like the whole social anxiety thing. I believe I have it, but I really don't know, and I don't know whether or not I WANT to believe I have it or not. It's complicated I know, and I'm glad this is the first time I'm writing it down. But the writings I don't want to rush to make a certain deadline, so I will upload them whenever they are ready, and I'll TRY to make them more often. You can't rush writings however, as they will lose its quality.

This next thing is a HUGE maybe, as in I MIGHT be playing a horror game tomorrow actually. I found this unique horror game on Steam called Pineview Drive being released tomorrow, July 31, and it looks rather interesting thus far to me. I won't talk much about it, but depending on the money factor if it costs money, which I assume so, will decide whether or not I play it. I will also use facecam on my tablet to add to the video if I play it, which I hope I can.

So that's it for all the upcoming stuff. To give you guys heads up, band camp continues the rest of this week up to Friday at 8 EST, but I also have a 2nd week of it beginning Monday at 8 am EST to 4 pm EST. That means I will have more time to do stuff on the computer, but on weekends I'm free. I start sophomore year about August 19, so from then on I can record ONLY on days I'm not busy with school or band; my education comes before YouTube obviously. Also, I am within 5 subs of 100 subs finally, so once that happens I plan on doing a special montage, which I won't reveal at this time. My 2 year anniversary of my first video is also on August 30, as for my 5 year anniversary of this account on August 16, but it's not that important. I will have a special message that day to, because despite the fact I'm not very popular, making YouTube videos has changed me in some ways and lead to new experiences and friends as well, including people like mcfarlin. A Recap of June

Hey guys, Cdog here bringing you a quick recap for the month of June 2014, which just ended a couple days ago. Now June was by the far best month statistically for the year 2014 thus far, as it complied for a total view count of 539, in which the previous most watched month this year was 471 monthly views in March. Compared to last year, that view count is crap though, as last summer saw each month cap over 700 views. I'm at least happy the number raised after a significant drop in stats for the months of April and May. Of course I was able to post more often in June, but since it's now July, band camp later on this month will take up all my time, so just warning in advance.

As for subscribers, June was also pretty good. The month of June had 7 new people subscribe to the channel, but that seems horrible, but honestly to me that's a big boost considering March held the previous record this year with 4. I hope this is the start of something year, as I will aim to top the subscriber count each month. It probably won't happen, but if I can be proven wrong, that'll be great, but I'm still giving it my all. I could of got more for June, but according to YouTube some accounts subbed to me were suspended on June 16 which dropped my sub count a bit. As for 2014, I've gained 27 subs, but lost 17 of them either due to those suspended accounts or legit nor pleasing anybody. I'll go with option 2 unfortunately, but on the bright side I actually have an acceptable video editor called Camtasia. This one actually gives me more options for video cropping, so the most recent video is finally in full screen! Yay!

June 26 also has seen the highest view count of the month with 40 views that day. My view count has been steadily rising up since mid June and hasn't seen less than 10 views a day since June 13, and it is staying at a medium of 40 or 30 views daily. Now over time I hope it improves, but obviously I like seeing this rise in June since 2014 has been rather slow for my channel up until now. Now it is starting to rise, so I hope it continues to rise for July.

Now the orange line is this month and the blue is last year in June if you didn't notice, but also observe by the end of the month, June 2014 started to top June 2013. I really do hope that this recent rise continues throughout July and even into August, although I will be extremely busy with everything then. Now more videos will be out for July. I hope to create more montages, even some different ones if I get the right footage, but I'm hoping my friend Robbie still has his server so I can play more Minecraft with friends and do some vids together. For now, I'll upload at a regular pace if I can as July is the last month of the year in which I'm totally free to make videos. I only get two months practically, June and July. Quick Updates

Hey guys, Cdog here with a quick update post. First of all, with those ideas I had involving friends, that will be put on hold for now. I didn't have money to renew my server this month, so after about a year of service, it has been terminated unfortunately. Now my friend Robbie has a server of his own which is much cheaper than mine, so if we can get on his server, this whole thing won't be a huge deal. I probably won't buy another server until next summer since pretty soon I'll be busy with marching band and school and such, so I wouldn't have much time to go on the server.

In other news, that Minecraft Random Moment video, if you saw it, will not be a one-off thing. It is a new idea I had for a series, in which it makes it convenient to watch funny or random moments from any video I have uploaded or will never upload, in that case with Devil Dave. Yes, it was very random, but I found it amusing to make.

Also, I've been noticing some of my stats increasing lately in views and even subscribers. Now in the past few days, I've gained at least 5 more subscribers, in which is a lot to me quite frankly. I'm still pushing for 100; as soon as I reach that point I'll be very satisfied, even if I don't get anymore. However I compared this June to last June 2013, and oh man does June 2013 blow this month out of the water. Last year in June the view count reached around 580 views around June 24, 2013, and this year by that same date has only reached about 360 views. Obviously I'm improving the content as much as I can and coming up with new ideas, but it is difficult since all last year I was almost always active, but haven't been as active since.

Well that's it for this update post. So I do plan on finally not being lazy tonight and actually get videos out that's been recorded already. That includes some Project Ares, but I may find new ways to edit it, and also what I call a "podcast" I did with mcfarlin, which basically we talk about anything that pops in our minds while we are playing Project Ares. Alright So I Have Ideas...

Hey guys, Cdog here. Remember like a week ago or so I announced what I had planned for June? Well now I'm starting to coming up with the ideas more clearly. First of all, Minecraft Misadventures is kind of troubling to record right now as my friend Robbie won't be available like ever for the rest of the summer from what I've been hearing. He is simply too busy. So I'll probably bring Alex along, but depending on who else I can add, like Elliot, Alexa, or David again, then I can record again. Obviously I want at least two other friends in the video.

Other than that, I'm working on a video project right now that is based off Minecraft's Southeast Rule, as you may of heard. So some friends and I including mcfarlin is gonna help me out with the planning and such. Expect this to actually come out as I do typically say I'll release a big video, but this time I have the free time to do it.

Also, expect tomorrow to be a video about the new Water Dungeons in the newest Minecraft snapshot 12w25a. I played around with it earlier yesterday, so I know how cool they are.

Another thing, I still do have some Project Ares stuff I can upload, but in the future I may come up with variations of PA stuff rather than just me playing it for like 20 minutes or so. For example, montages, perhaps recording a funny moment or whatever. Perhaps I'll start using the "Round" format I used on what used to be the Project Ares PVP channel I was in with mcfarlin. Basically each episode is a "round" in which I only play one round. It can take a few minutes, or even up to 20 or even 2 parters or whatever, but this is all stuff I'll think of in the future. I know I usually don't keep promises, but expect one of the new ideas to be uploaded next week.

So that's all for now of my ideas. I hope this should help with the view count a bit as I am pretty lackluster on views lately which I blame partly on my inactivity and perhaps lack of original ideas. This is my attempt at originality. However I did some research and find this month so for up to June 17 I've been almost on par with June 2013's views. At around June 17, 2013, I had 254 views. Now around June 17, 2014, I have 227 views. I'm pretty happy to see I'm pretty close with last year's June views, which last June got viewed 714 times. So I hope this may be a sign my view count could be rising back as it has been dipping down recently. So expect all these videos sometime within the month. Until then, goodbye!

So What's Planned for June?

Hey guys Cdog here. So it is June 7, or almost June 8 by the time I'm typing this. If you noticed the videos on my channel than you may of realized I brought back the Minecraft Misadventures series. I plan on doing more, but the most recent Episode 7 was the last of that recording session and we can't record more until about Monday. Starting then we will mix things up from a just plain survival to an actual challenge to do. You'll find out in Episode 8. Other than that, I also uploaded my first update video since January, but expect there to be more to keep you updated. So you guys will have this blog and the update videos on my channel to look for news pertaining to me. Other than that, I'm trying to plan out some other stuff to do in June. I had an idea concerning about Minecraft's Southeast Rule, but that's still within the works of idea creating. Other than that, I have no other stuff planned for June, but as time goes on I'll find new ideas. I do have all the time in the world in June and almost all of July before band camp starts the last week of July, so I will be churning out videos until then. Once band camp starts however, I will have no time for anything practically. And with sophomore year coming up around that time, I need to prepare and once sophomore year starts, I will be super busy as I will be working harder to achieve great things. A New Writing: Push and Pull

Hey guys Cdog here with another piece of literature. This one is called Push and Pull, and the basic premise of it is the constant struggle I have between the "web" I caught in with the girl I like, Maura, and the girl who likes me, Alexa. Now let me get this straight, I felt compelled to write this since I just got back from Kennywood literally half and hour ago when I'm writing this, and I felt like I was in the madhouse. Alexa is creepily attached to me, while I'm attracted to Maura, and the ironic thing is, they are both best friends. Can you imagine that situation? You are trying to get to know a girl you like, while at the same time have her friend who likes you try her very best with you, and not trying to make her cry. This explains my struggle. Alexa and her family make me feel like I'm in the madhouse, while being with Maura completes me and makes me feel happy. At the same time, someone else pulls her away. So this is the conflict: I'm trying to know Maura, while someone is pulling her away, while at the same time, I'm being pulled away by Alexa. So yes, push and pull. Just read it; it may not be the best, it may sound like I'm crazy, because I am. All due respect to Alexa if she is reading this. I will NOT put this on YouTube though. Goodbye.

A New Writing: Nighttime

Hey guys, Cdog here. Today I got around to writing a new piece that I call Nighttime. Essentially what this short story tells is of my experiences walking down my neighborhood at night. The past couple nights I started to take walks around my neighborhood around midnight or so. It stared midnight Saturday morning whenever I got angry playing Project Ares, so I decided to clear my mind taking a walk around my neighborhood. I did it later that night, and now it is just routine. Last night's walk was powerful, and it shaped the way this story goes. I was upset last night after the band banquet I just went to, whenever I felt I took a step backwards towards where I wanted to be with Maura that night. If you read it you may also notice the motif of a certain bright star in the sky. Whenever I looked above to see all the starts last night, I could always see this one star that catches my attention. It was bright and blue, and perhaps it was Sirius but I'm not sure. That one star reminded me of Maura. The cloudy skies also represent my first night walk. Just read it yourself for the magic. This Week...

Hey guys Cdog here. In this post, I have a bit of a lowish tone, for I've been feeling upset the past few days. That is why you haven't been seeing much Outlast or what I wanted to do so far this weekend. This whole thing is about my situation with the girl I like, which you know from my writings as Maura. The thing is, recently I've been having to learn how tough love can get. Before I didn't see it as a thing in which is breaking, but honestly I have felt a bit broken from what's been happening. There is just one thing I need to do: wait. We're both in marching band, and next year I'm entering my 2nd year of band whenever I'm going to be a sophomore next year, as freshman year ends on Friday May 23. She's going to be a junior. It really is tough, so because of this I probably won't get much videos on the channel since this has started to take effect on me. Let's just hope by summer's end we really get to know each other. That is what I wanted this week; this week I started to text her since I finally got her number but it hasn't been pleasing the past few days. I probably won't even exit through my usual outro, but if you are also interested I wrote a poem last week called Visions. I wrote this after finishing Outlast Whistleblower last Saturday night, and it reveals what I sometimes think in my head and also what I desire most with Maura. I have been feeling pretty upset with this, so I guess once it gets better, I can possibly write more on it. You can find the poem in the writings page. Goodbye.

Perhaps Some Horror

Hey guys Cdog here. If you didn't notice, I've been uploading Outlast Whistleblower in which I played and beat last weekend. I enjoyed that game, so I kinda felt like doing more good horror I could find, possibly over the weekend. Other than that, I still do have a few more parts to upload for Outlast; there's 7 parts in total, in which viewer discretion is advised in the end of part 6 and beginning of part 7. These two parts are the first parts in which it is certainly not PG or even PG-13, in which I try to keep my channel as PG as possible. So just a warning. Until then, goodbye!

Upcoming for the Week of May 4

Hey guys, Cdog here. I hope to be finally getting some videos out this week, but no promises as I usually don't end up pulling through. Anyway, I still have some prerecorded stuff from March to share in which I made with friends, so I hope to be uploading them soon. Other than that, at some point, I hope to make another writing video sharing my experiences from my freshman year. This was just a short little post of what's to come soon, while the writing may not happen for a few weeks. Upcoming Plans for May

Hey guys Cdog here. I realize it has been a solid month without me posting on here mainly because I totally forgot about the blog, but now I'm going to remain more active. So anyway, of course I still haven't posted any stuff lately, that is because I'm around the end of my freshman year, which of course is the busiest. After the last day, I'll have more time while I don't have too much band until the end of July. So for May, I'm going to upload a whole bunch of stuff I had pre recorded, and try to get my friends on the server to do something at some point. I'm also currently in the works of restarting my Civ V series, since I found reinterest in it. If fact, that is all I've been playing for the past few weeks; that and Garry's Mod. Yes, GMod. With GMod, I hope to record videos of just me messing around on Sandbox, while I could consider other gamemodes. This is all plans, which I hope to deliver in May. But only time will tell. I'll also release an update video if I have time tomorrow explaining all this and my plans. Until then, goodbye!

A Week's Review

Hey guys, Cdog here. It has been quite the week for me personally. While I released only one video, "A Matter of Confessions", personally it was dramatic. You are already well aware of what I did Wednesday the 26th, which by now seemed like forever. But the reason I am still talking about it now is the lasting effect of it. If you watched and stuck around Friday's video I uploaded then you would have seen me talking about it at the end. Well not "see" me, hear me more like it. If you didn't stay around or end up watching it or even read the piece, essentially I expressed my original fear in doing so. Now I can be reluctant in actions and a bit shy as well because I don't want to mess anything up. That corresponds to create a fear of failure for me. So obviously whenever it came to the time to admit this to her, I was scared. That was a bold move that I have done and I probably wouldn't have been able to do it months back whenever I first realized my apparent interest in her. Now some of the things I said weren't things I stated at the end of the video, but perhaps I'll address it vocally on an update video. Speaking of those, I haven't really got around to any of them. It was precisely two months ago today whenever I last released one. This blog is pretty much the best place for updates. Other than that, I kind of wanted to reinforce what I did over the past week. I hope you go and see the video I uploaded Friday to know for sure what has been going on. Expect some more videos this week though. Until then, goodbye.

New Writing (A Matter of Confessions)

Hey guys, Cdog here. I present to you another writing that has just been added to the writings page. This one is special however; more special than the others. This is the very writing I gave to my love interest, Maura, just this morning the 26th of March. It was the most triumphant moment in my life considering I finally stepped out of my comfort zone to reach out to someone I like and that I was confidence enough to do it. A Matter of Confessions

Hey guys Cdog here. It seems that all I posted here in March are updates, and this one must add to that category. I do feel bad that I don't get much time anymore, but the high school life is a lot of work. I still have a plethora of recorded videos, but I never get around to uploading them. I'm still procrastinating with recording another one of my writings. I feel very guilty for that because I really want to do it. I still feel uncomfortable by the whole thing I guess. Other than that, I have been doing some personal stuff. That girl in the "Pain Inside" and one I talk about often, I have been writing her something confessing all the secrets I have kept hidden within myself for almost five months. In fact, this Wednesday the 26th of March marks the 5 month anniversary of the Towson competition in which I first realized my feelings for this girl. Now after those 5 months, she is going to learn. Not only that, but learn a bit about me. Unlike the readers of this blog, she knows nothing of this side of personal, wistful, and soft side of me. She knows me as a serious person, but none of those redeeming qualities you readers know about. Let me tell you, bottling up emotions for a human being for 5 months is painful. Everyday I felt the pain. Now since I wrote it, part of it cleared away. I believe it will all clear away once I give it to her and she comes back to me with it. The truth is, I haven't talked to her in months. My fear of screwing it up costs me many of an opportunity. Perhaps I'll write more in depth on my fears one day, but my fear of failure is deeper than you could imagine. It is the root to many problems that I face in daily life. Once the piece is done, I'll even share it to you guys. I want to make her feel special, but at the same time make everyone feel special. I may not be much, I only have 81 subscribers. However one of these days I will lead the movement to create peace and posterity in this world, and also make everyone feel important in their lifetimes. Until then, goodbye.

What is Going On

Hey guys, Cdog here. I finally got around to making and uploading videos last week, and perhaps later on this week I can have that same time. The thing is I've still been busy with school and all, and just now I did an English project for 5 and a half hours. So yeah, I'm busy. I also realized how inactive I have been this month so far, which I apologize for. I'll try to keep up with this blog more often, perhaps share some more personal stuff. Some Updates

Hey guys, Cdog here. I haven't been on the ball with this blog recently only because the amount of school work I have been getting. I did say last year that high school would prevent me from being active most of the time and thus far I have been 95.37% correct (yes, it is a very precise number). However, I still will make at least one this week if I find the time. I really want to return to the recorded writings; I have some excellent ones I wrote coming in store. I hope to be doing Tekkit on my server at some point with friends, but that is certainly quite some cash (about 50 US dollars a month) to add an extra gigabyte (for a total of 2). Quite expensive, but it is the drawback to having an excellent server provider. Anyway, I just wanted to keep you alerted. I hope to find that time for at least one video this week, but no promises. More Updates

Hey guys Cdog here. I haven't been very on the ball with the blog or my channel as well, so I wanted to give some quick updates. I have been rather busy with school, having working all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday before finally returning to the computer yesterday, Friday February 28, for the first time since last Monday. I do apologize for that, but school comes first obviously. So anyway, videos coming but I'm no longer going to estimate when. For some reason, I don't usually follow along promises very well, so as a result I don't typically work well on a schedule. With that said, expect videos at some point in the week, no specific time, but at least some will be here this week. Those videos will include some of the minigames I recorded last Saturday along with some of the writing videos since I'm literally dying to get this out (well not literally dying, but you know what I mean). Update Post

Hey guys, Cdog here. I am here to inform you of some video that are coming to you all soon. I recorded a few videos playing minigames on Sky's server Saturday night in which I will be uploading for the next couple days. On top of that, I still need to make the recorded writings since I have been eager to reboot that. Reason for Delay

Hey guys, Cdog here. I have to apologize for not putting out the "Love" writing out as promised on Friday. The reason for that is that I'm revising it a bit so that I can get my homosexual argument "presentable." By that, I mean I want to write it good enough so it doesn't offend too many people. I have discussed it is a delicate subject to talk about, so I want to be careful. Anyway, I will have it later on today as well as "Metamorphosis" as a bonus. Other than that, perhaps I'll mess around in a technic pack and make a video on it. Also, I have just finished Outlast finally. If you remember back in September I did like one part then just stopped. The reason for that is I was reluctant to play for a while plus with all the extra band time I had. The day I recorded that first video was right after a competition we had for band. I did record a part two, but I never uploaded it and I deleted it since I had no consideration of uploading it. I finally got back to it last week to play more and found out how much more terrifying it was before. I just wanted to let you know, since I have been waiting for that game for awhile. Upcoming Writing: Love

Hey guys, Cdog here. I guess I am here to talk about a sort of back story for my piece on "Love" that I am going to upload on Valentine's Day this Friday. I just want to say, it includes what I think about love and how new I am to it, along with some personal experiences along with that support of homosexuality. I wrote it last Thursday, the 6th of February because I felt as if I needed a work about love. To be exact, about 1500 words were put into that document when I wrote it. Let me get this straight, I am very new to love, but I understand it well. It's weird, but whenever I have a female accompaniment, I feel awkward. But for others love, I understand it. I express how since I am in high school, I see quite a bit of love in the school, but I don't feel it. That is why I have been led to believe that relationships usually don't last past high school. Guys typically just date the hottest girl they see, but I don't believe in that bullcrap. I believe in finding the one that really suits my personality. It doesn't matter about the looks for me. If I can make that girl happy and if she makes me happy, then it is set. Once again, I am new so this can't just happen once and I'm all aboard the love train or anything like that. It is a delicate subject to talk about for me since I was suddenly bombed by love this year whenever I had my first love interest and crush as well. It was very sudden and I felt unprepared, but I have since learned more about love and how it effects our world around us. My belief is that love essentially makes the world. It is a beautiful emotion, but it can be very complex to deal with. Once again, some guys may beg to differ. Just find the hottest chick than bam! Just drop in a pick up line and you're set. No. I don't believe it works that way. The problem with girls these days is that they are easily influenced, in which is why I have been lead to believe that I wasn't the right once for my crush since I was rushing it and she was all in my head. What I mean by that, I was very new and had no idea what I was doing. This is something I expressed in a paper I wrote for English back in December, in which the teacher absolutely loved. I'm not going to go big on homosexuality here, but I will on Friday, but this was a sort of preview on my views on love on this post before posting it on Friday. Until then, goodbye.

My Thoughts

Hey guys, Cdog here. I know, third post today, but I wanted to share my thoughts on my first recorded writing on my channel. I was really excited to release it today; I felt it was really special. The thought of something of my own work on my channel, with some of my friends already liking it, it is very special. I love how you all now can dive into my thoughts and hear my experiences that has happened over the course of the past few months or later. It feels great to share my thoughts to the world, and even in some cases, help the world. The thing is, I want to help the world through my writing someday. And who says that someday can't be today? I feel as if my writing has the potential to help some troubled people and give them good advice on how to live out the rest of their lives. The thing is, I wouldn't force it, I would let them build their own path. And that is the key to fully living right there. You have to learn from past experiences such as this one for me and build upon it. Then, you will learn from your past and start advancing your future. That is what that writing felt like, my own self reflection over my troubled summer months. Just remember, it all didn't happen that day of July 31, the reason I chose that because I was really going to a Pirates game in Pittsburgh. That whole half hour represented almost the whole summer of band rehearsal. Also with that quote at the end, that is what I'll do at the end of each of those videos. This one, "Assumptions are the termites of relationships," was said by Henry Winkler. I felt this quote was especially true for myself, since I assumed the girl in said writing didn't like her treatment, but not talking to her possibly messed up a potential relationship. Much like termites would... oh they would. So remember, don't assume things. You can possibly ruin some possible relationships in your life and struggle more if you just assume stuff. I will have another video tomorrow called "Metamorphosis," in which I explain the most recent experiences of my so called metamorphosis, which I call my emotional development. The writing will have tons of references to Zoey's "You are Awesome" video since I wrote it the same day I watched it and it is what started this whole "emotional development" within myself. The Video is Out Now!

Hey guys, Cdog here. So anyway, just a moment ago I posted how I was having issues with the video. Well I found a way around it by recording it with Bandicam on the internet instead of the Windows bullcrap. Anyway, the writing I recorded was one I wrote for English called "The Pain Inside" which explores my entire thought process over my regrets on not talking to this girl at band camp, or the whole summer. I hope you really enjoy it. I felt really proud of myself making this, since I have taken a huge step into sharing these online. This one was tough to write since I was never one to express emotion, but this writing would set up the foundation for the future. I hope to upload one everyday up to Valentine's Day in which I will share my writing about love. Warning though, there will be an argument on homosexuality in it, so I am being very careful in my words since this is a delicate subject for anyone that is religious. Finally the Video

Hey guys, Cdog here. As of now, I am finally getting into the whole writing video thing, but I'm having a bit of a dilemma. The thing is, the easiest way to make it is to just have text on the screen rather than my voice, but I feel as if it is more personal if I am reading it myself. The point in these videos I'm making is to make it more personal and make it my own. I also want you to see who I really am. I'm trying to work around it. What I have attempted to do was to record the photo I was going to use then add music to it. The only editor I use is Windows Movie Maker since it is the easiest free software that I can trust. State of the Channel

Hey guys, Cdog here. I was looking through my YouTube analytics today and was a bit disappointed in what I saw. My views have most certainly dropped since August, and I know that is due to the fact of marching band, whenever I didn't have time to upload videos. Even now, whenever I'm uploading more often for the first time since the summer, it isn't getting much views. That is one reason why I'm trying to the the writing thing to work. I believe it will boost the channel since I know it is my own work, and I hope people would appreciate it and perhaps share the videos to help others. That is my goal. One day, I want to help people in the world, and who says I can't start now? No one, so once that first video uploads, all I ask is to watch it. I don't care if you watch it once and never watched it again, but if you know it changed you, I'll be happy. Perhaps you can share it to some troublesome people you know. Remember, that is my goal. This Weekend's Plan

Hey guys, Cdog here. I felt like posting again, just for "fun" as I call it. I have been thinking about this weekend, and I'm going to look into how to record those writings. I do have a few pending, and one about love for the spirit of Valentine's Day. Yes, I am finally doing a holiday "special" sort of thing for the first time since December 2012 with the Epic Jump Map: Christmas Trolling. I plan on starting Tekkit soon, I just have to get the server compatible for it due to the lack of enough memory on the server. For these writings, I hope you guys will listen to them. It would mean more to me if you watched those rather than me being stupid playing a video game, but I wouldn't mind if you watch that and is into that as well. Expressions

Hey guys, Cdog here. Interesting title, you may have noticed. That is due to the fact that I have been doing that this week. Expression. It is a powerful word. It represents everything a person does or says, because the way they express their emotion is different from you and me. For me, I express through the written words, much like now. This past week, I have gone through many of experiences that has furthered my knowledge on life, love, compassion, depression, and stuff like that. So I have written about it. It helps clear my mind on issues in life by writing it on a Word document or on this blog. This is what this blog has turned into, me expressing myself. In fact, I have a great new writing on the Writings page now, about love. I'm still working on making these writings videos, but once I do on Valentine's Day, I will upload my piece about love. Just saying, it is about 1,500 words and approximately two and a half pages of length. So yeah, a lot. So get ready for that. Prepare yourself for some homosexual arguments though. The Writings Page

Hey guys, Cdog here! I have not kept my promise on uploading the writings within the few days mark. I did try today, but the editor I use doesn't allow two audio tracks simultaneously, so I need to find a way around that. Anyway, I know what to do with that "Random Videos" page now, turn it into the "Writings Page" where I will keep all the transcripts of my writing on it. I have been writing much recently, mainly because of Zoey from the Yogscast. I feel like one certain video changed me, and perhaps I'll link it here. Anyway, her past experiences gave me new viewpoints on many of life's hardships and the problems with modern society today. So I wrote a lot on that, and her Youtube channel is the first one that actually made me smile in every single video. I don't know what's with that, I am usually one not to smile but she just tears me apart. That's what I admire about her, so I'm going to take my writings as my new passion for my channel, and I can't wait to start uploading it. Until then, goodbye!

The Backstory

Hey guys, Cdog here. If you saw the weekly update last week or saw my latest update video you should know of the my interest on recording my writings here. Well that's what I'm gonna plan on doing maybe today or within the next couple days. They are mainly going to be either ones I wrote for school or on my own as a sort of "freestyle." The first one I plan on doing is one I wrote back on the precise date of Sunday, October 20, 2013 the week of the Towson competition I went to for marching band. It was for a English dialogue bonus in which the prompt was to write about a time in which you regret not talking to someone. I wrote it about less than an hour the day before the due date (since we only had the weekend to do it). This was also the day before I talked to my English teacher which sparked the start of my metamorphosis. That wouldn't necessarily begin until after Tuesday, November 5, but that week I felt like my old self. Until Saturday, the day of the competition, in which I felt like my whole life changed. I won't go into detail on that, but my closest friends know what I'm talking about. Anyway, during the dialogue I wrote, I recalled of the many times in band camp in which this one certain girl was always picked on by the upper classmen of the brass ensemble. I never really talked to her about it. I wasn't sure whether or not it was really harassment, or if she had fun in it at all, I'm not sure and I still not sure to this day, approximately 6 months later. I regretted not talking to her to make sure how she felt in this, and it has been my greatest regret since. I talk to her more now, but then I wasn't into talking into girls, until after that Saturday, the 26th of October. Ironically, once that big moment came Saturday, which concerned of said girl from band camp, I talked with her the most that weekend the week ahead of time. I said as if God himself was playing a game with me. The week later, I was confused on what to do, and I fell apart in school again. I put myself back together the week later and never fell apart again. That is why this piece holds a special place in my heart. It was ironically the week I started to talk to said girl often, I even mustered the guts to tell her about this piece of writing. That all lead up to the climactic moment on Saturday. That why I properly titled it "The Pain Inside." So I hope you will enjoy the writing later on. It may seem like a large back story, but this dialogue is only a page long, which was the max pages I can write for the assignment. Until then, goodbye.

The Weekly Update for January 27

Hey guys, Cdog here, and it has been a little while. First of all, I have only uploaded one video since, which is the Tekkit fun on the moon sort of thing. This weekly update won't be structured like the other two for the whole fact that I'm catching up here. Anyway, I also have an update video coming along explaining what I'm going to do with the channel. I'm planning on recording my writings and post them on YouTube. I feel this is my unique, compassionate thing that I can look back and be proud on and say it's my own work on my channel. I love writing, and I'm good at it, so I want to share it with the internet. Most papers I've written this year was for school, but I created some on my own. I have a few I'm going to share some time this week. Other than that, I'm planning a Tekkit series since I have been playing it nonstop the past five days or so, so I think I'm ready for an actual let's play for it. And that's it. Video News

So as far as videos go, I'm gonna upload a few tonight (or technically very early Monday morning around 1 am or such). I have a couple of Project Ares episodes with friends as well as a Block Hunt episode coming. I didn't make any new Civ V videos over the weekend, so it'll have to wait until Saturday at least. Until then, Minecraft! Back to the old roots. Other than tonight's videos, I'm planning on making some on the server since it has been awhile since we have made a video on there. I really don't have a plan yet, but we'll see as we progress through the week.

The Weekly Update for January 7

Hey guys, Cdog here. Here is the Weekly Update for the week of January 7 (technically 5th, but other updates will be on Sunday rather than Tuesday). Here are some stuff that are going to go down for the rest of the week:

So in the matter of videos, at least 2 more episode of Civilization V will be released before I have to record more. The reason is that Civ V takes a lot of my hard drive space so I can only record so much per session before having to stop. The cropping problem with the videos, I'm still unsure. I'll look into it and try to fix it. Other than Civ V, I may record some Minecraft stuff this week concerning about Project Ares, most likely with the new map rotations I may be playing to show off each new map. So overall:

The next piece of news is an unfortunate one for me. Over the past few weeks or so, I ran into problems with YouTube's copyright system. I know this has been complained about over and over, but I never gave my thoughts on it. I have really never had a problem with copyright before, but recently I started to get copyright notices concerning about some of the music in my videos, specifically the 2 Civ V let's plays I uploaded. I had the sound turned up to around 70%, which is my mistake, so it was easily heard, and the copyright system caught the music as some others own music. I feel it's unfair to just notice me on it, even if it's not claimed or removed. I believe I have the right to upload these videos with the actually sound, considering it is the game's actually music. I think it's bull crap the game's music can be copyright in my video, considering the game uses music by others anyway. I understand they have permission, but why do I need permission to record with the game's sound? I want to use it so the entire video doesn't have to be me just talking to myself, and it's rather boring without sound either. Minecraft, I can live without. I play the game without sound constantly, but without it in Civ V is boring. Especially since why would they care what a 15-year old high schooler would upload? That's just being desperate. I'm not even making money off this video, so why does it matter? That is just my issue, I hope none of you are experiencing anything like that.

Return of the Blog
