Introducing: CdogPVP

Hey guys, and I finally created my 2nd Youtube Channel called CdogPVP! Remember, this is PVP only, and here are the series that are going to be on the channel:

More series will be added in the future, but this is it for now. Minecraft PVP, another general PVP series, will also be moved with weekly episodes every Monday and Saturday. Upcoming 2nd Channel

Hey guys, Cdog here! It has been awhile, and boy have I had a busy week. Besides that, I'm here to talk about a future channel in which will be all about PVP, like shorts, rushes, and all that in Project Ares and maybe some other servers. I don't know what it will be called yet, but I'll figure it out. I know this didn't work the first time, that's because the other channel had no specific purpose, but this one does: PVP. Once it is created, I'll make a video about it, create a blog post, tweet it, and all that stuff to spread the word. I will also create a trailer as the channel's first video explaining all of what I am going to do on it, and possible series on the channel. Remember, this is all about PVP, and that doesn't mean PVP will be replaced on the main channel. This PVP channel is basically for shorts as I said, but maybe I will move the Minecraft PVP series to the PVP channel. The Project Ares series WILL STAY ON MY CHANNEL! Video Update

Hey guys, Cdog here with a quick update. I still don't know the video schedule, but Operation Tropical Vacation is not going to be uploaded now because they no longer exist. My dad deleted them from the computer before I was done uploading, so Parts 3-6 can't be uploaded, while only Parts 1 and 2 were uploaded. Sorry to inform you on that, I really loved recording it, but of course my dad ruins everything. So I hope I can play the next map, or until then, just think of more stuff to do. Operation Tropical Vacation

Hey guys, Cdog here. I'm here to talk about Bodil's newest map, Operation Tropical Vacation. By talking about it, I mean I'm talking about when my videos on the map will be out. Parts 1 and 2 were released, there are 4 more incoming, but my family constantly exits the upload, and it takes literally over 10-15+ for each video to upload, so that's why they are coming in slow. Right now, I honestly don't feel like messing with it, so no video today, but I will resume uploading tomorrow, so Part 3 may come late tomorrow night, and Parts 4 and 5 will take to at least Wednesday or Thursday, while Part 6 (the finale) is only over a few minutes long, so it will be uploaded on Thursday as well. The reason the finale is so short is that the C drive filled up while filming Part 5, and it happened pretty much near the end, so that is why it is so short. So, in recap, expect all 6 parts be finished uploading on Thursday. There will be no videos until all of them are out due to the fact I don't want to delete these videos from my computer until they are uploading, and they do take up lot's of space, so I won't be able to make a video without filling the C drive. More Updates

Hey guys, Cdog here. It has been a slow week for videos only because I have been EXTREMELY busy lately. I just had band camp all this week, along with helping around my house, doing yard work, and I will also be having band camp again next week, so I will be busy again. That has been the reason why I haven't posted a lot of videos. Just be aware, when I do enter high school in the fall, I will have less time for Youtube, so don't expect videos all the time, and that includes this summer since I will be busy with band mostly. However, there are 6 videos coming within the next few days of me playing Bodil40's newest map, Operation Tropical Vacation, so expect that. Other than that, there is really no schedule since I don't know when I will be available to record. So in recap, been busy, couldn't record, and Operation Tropical Vacation is coming, so until all that, goodbye!

Some Updates

Hey guys, Cdog here. I have a few updates I want to throw out at you. First, the School's Out special will be uploaded late tonight or early morning since I haven't recorded it yet, but I will today. Also, I did promise to edit the Fight Night videos and such, which will be done later. Project Ares Map

Hey guys, Cdog again. I'm informing you saying that I am in the making, a PVP map for Project Ares. So far, here's what I got:

Not much, but what you see is, obviously, a big circle. It has a radius of 50 blocks and a depth of 6 blocks, and also made of snow. The platform is going to be the spawn. Basically, I plan to make a snow-themed map, since Project Ares doesn't have a lot of snow maps. It is called Blizzard Battle currently, and will be a Capture the Wool map. I'll report new details when needed, and I'll show you it when it's done, and also do a video on it to explaining it. Until then, goodbye!

I'm back with Videos!

Hey guys, Cdog here, and I'm pleased to say I'm back to making videos! My grades finally started to go up, and at the right time to, since school ends on Friday. Anyway, I uploaded a let's play today, so go check that out. But I'm not sure if I can go on yet after this. My grades still need to be reviewed in order to get the thumbs up that I can go on. I'm not sure whether I was only allowed on today, or until they review the grades. If I can't go back on, expect videos sometime next week. If I can, you can probably expect videos daily until review. Also, with schedule revisions talk, the final, decided schedule will be posted on Sunday, May 26. More PVP is Probably be Added to Schedule

Hey guys, Cdog here. I have another schedule revision, which will probably add more PVP to it. I realized that PVP is pretty much my thing, and I really wanted to record more of it. Saturday was already changed to a PVP day to go along with Monday, and I'll probably still upload Project Ares PVP (which is its own series) on another day, which has not been decided yet. The How-To will stay on Wednesday, the horror games may be questionable, but may still be a keeper. The Let's Play stays, so either I remove a day, or add in an extra day (likely to be Thursday). Hey guys, Cdog here, and I'm here to tell you that I will be uploading update videos every Monday starting whenever I can (since I still can't make videos yet). Which speaking of that, last day of school this Friday, so I will be free all summer to make videos. New Channel Layout

Hey guys, as you have probably seen, I upgraded to the new Youtube channel layout. I just wanted to make it known I did. I thought it is a pretty well organized layout, and it is great, so I really recommend trying it out for yourself. I also changed the channel art and my avatar for a new spirit of change. BTW, I still can't make videos yet, I still need to raise my grades. Finals are in about a week, so that's the only opportunity I have to dramatically improve them. So that means I won't be able to make videos until about the week before Memorial Day. Sorry about that. I promise I will have lots of videos coming once I can go back on. Until then, goodbye!

Sorry for the Delay

Hey guys, sorry about not uploading anything last week. I got down with the stomach flu and couldn't pretty much do anything all last week, so I never got around to uploading any videos. Anyway, there are 3 videos coming today for PVP Monday, two Quakecraft videos and a Search and Destroy video. Other than that, here is this week's schedule:

Small Schedule Revision

Hey guys, Cdog again. This is a short post adding another game to this week's schedule. After months of wanting to record this game, I finally will this week. This game, the game that can't get out of my head since it is very hard for me to complete since this antagonist is a jerk. That game, is Slender. You may be thinking, "It's not that hard," for me it is. The most I ever gotten was 6, and as I said, I wanted to record ever since I started recording horror games (which was with Slenderman's Shadow Mansion I believe). So on Tuesday, my first (recorded) attempt at Slender will be made to go along with the secret level on Slender the Arrival (if I can make my game update that is). So remember:

Don't think it is too late to play it. I honestly think this game was better than Slender the Arrival only because the gameplay feels more right for the Eight Pages than in the Arrival, although the visuals are WAY better in the Arrival. So until Tuesday, goodbye!

Sorry for Delays

Hey guys, Cdog here! You may of noticed I didn't upload anything this week, and I'm sorry for that. This week at school I had to take tests called the PSSA'S as I mentioned in one video in ExplodingTNT's server. I've been occupied with that, and also occupied at home doing work. I did record two (the 2nd was caused because of an accident in the 1st) Project Ares episodes yesterday though, and they will be uploaded later today. I'm also pushing back the how-to on finding diamonds to Wednesday, and the Let's Play to next Friday. I will be free next week, so no excuses next week for missing videos. The hardcore walkthrough for Slender the Arrival is no longer going to be recorded, only because I found not that much changes. Although, there are some, which include the flashlight having battery through levels, stamina, more aggressive enemies, and in some levels you have to do different stuff. My Thoughts on Slender the Arrival

EDIT: Upon doing research on the game's plot, it said that Kate was actually the supposed "Masky" in Level 3, and that Slenderman turned her into his proxy, or assistant. Also, it could be that Kate was the protagonist to the first game, Slender the Eight Pages, as 1 note hinted at the beginning of Level 4. Finally, it is said that Kate was the one who killed you at the end, not Slenderman. That would explain why I saw female faces at the end. It is said that Kate warned you about this prior to the end, warning her, unknowingly to the players, that she would be the one killing Lauren. 

Hey guys, Cdog here, and if you don't know it already, I beat Slender the Arrival, which will be uploaded later tonight, and I expressed my short opinion on the game at the end, but I felt it wasn't enough. So here's my full thoughts on the game, and how I would rate it out of 10.

Graphics and Sound
First of all, Slender the Arrival was a great game in the way of the atmosphere, it was excellent. The environment looked beautiful, the music was spot-on, and the ambient soundtrack makes you terrified of this game. Seeing Slenderman, and that proxy in Level 3, really brought a scare on you. The static sounds were really intense and loud even, which made seeing him much more scarier than the original.

Gameplay
This is where I had trouble with the game. The gameplay bugged me. It was the EXACT same concept as the original, only in different environments and that you have to collect different things. On the FAQ's, Blue Ilse Studios and Parsec Productions stated that "the levels will feature unique and varied gameplay," and, "there will be more things to do than collecting notes." What I didn't realize though, that means that you would still be collecting items, just DIFFERENT items. Way to go, you got my hopes up for nothing. Also, the game does get difficult at points, particularly Level 3, the Kullman Mining stage. The level did get me frustrated at points, never enough to make me rage though since I got lucky. And also, guess who's chasing you? TWO entities will be chasing you, the Proxy (which is what I called Masky or the 'Lil Prick) and Slenderman, which by the way, pretty much appears ANYTIME and ANYWHERE without ANY warning at all! The Proxy can appear from any corner as well, and he can be cheap too since he is WAY faster than you are. However, the mine level was excellent with its scares and also it made the most sense. Saying that, the other levels were still scary, however pointless at times. Level 2, which is the beta stage, was suddenly brought here. Your objective went from investigating a scream to collect 8 pages in the woods. How does that make remote sense?! Your collecting 8 pages in the woods for no reason at all, when you supposed to be investigating a scream. Level 4, you play as Kate in her house locking the doors and windows before Slendy gets in, which will most likely end up as Slendy getting in before you can do so. I managed to lock 7/8 windows/doors in the level, then Slendy would come it and have to hide in my room. With that said, the level does have one very annoying bug, which happened to me in Part 4. Sometimes when your caught by Slenderman in your room, it bugs out and you can't move or even quit the game, so I had to stop recording and open Windows Task Manager just to close it. Very annoying. And even if you don't get the bug, you just jump from the window, then what happens? We don't know! Level 5, the grand finale, has you run from Slenderman in a burning forest as you approach the radio tower, which you will never end up reaching! You get cornered in a building just to reach a dead end as the writing on the wall says "I failed you" and sure yes you failed me for sure. At the end, you will see a corpse, which I assume to be CR from all the notes collected, with a video recorder next to it, and it will play a feedback of what happened to her, which I don't understand at all. Then at the end, Slendy is pounding at the door, gets in, and kills you. The end. "What..." was my reaction. The ending, in my opinion, was very abrupt and disappointing. It just happened like that. Going through this whole adventure, going through a house, the forest, the mine, the mountains, just to ultimately reach a dead end and die. Just wow, I thought. All this game went through just to die very suddenly at the end. It was VERY disappointing. I wanted more from the game. I wanted more variety and more levels to the game, then it would be a great game.

Story Line

The story was presented through notes that you would find throughout the levels, which right off the bat causes problems. Myself and probably most people probably didn't find all the pages, and so the story couldn't be pieced together. Either way, the story would still be confusing only because you would have to figure it out yourself, which some people can. I was able to figure out some of the story, but not much. There couldn't be cutscenes, or even dialogue that goes along to progress the story, which is disappointing to me. The story could of been better, which is shocking since Marble Hornets wrote it. I expected better from them with the story.

Summary
So overall, the game is great for its scares and atmosphere, but it falls short as the gameplay is the exact same as the original Slender the Eight Pages, and the game can be unfair at points. If your a Slender fan, I would still recommend this game only because of its great scares that it will give you, and it is definitely creepy. The story had to be pieced together, which is great in some ways, but others would feel confused at the story. Also, some people may not be able to find MOST of the story, since they're presented through notes scattered across the map. In my opinion, this game is good, but slightly less. It is between alright and good on my opinion, since I did have fun from playing it in the dark plus the scares were great too, just not the gameplay.

My score: 7/10
It had perfect atmosphere and scares, but falls short because of its repetitive gameplay.

Schedule Revision

Hey guys, me again! I just want to let you know that my video schedule is being revised a bit. There are some videos in which I can't do, like the Let's Play today. I pre-recorded the let's play yesterday, but I think it got deleted since I can't find it, and I can't record today because I apparently lost my voice. So I can barely speak, so I can't make videos today, but luckily I pre-recorded quite some videos yesterday. I recorded on ExplodingTNT's server yesterday with 3 other friends on the server, and there are 3 parts instead of one to be uploaded since we were having so much fun. So, Part 1 and 2 is being uploaded on Sunday, with guests LRROCKER, Magicman, Ravieole, and briefly my friend Alex. Part 3 is going to be uploaded on Monday. As for Slender the Arrival, I couldn't record on the game last night since I can barely speak, so Part 2 was uploaded yesterday. With that, Part 2 was split in 2 since I accidentally ended the recording early. Part 2 1/2 is about 11 minutes long and Part 2 2/2 is only 3 minutes long, however. So here's the schedule right here:

Hey guys, Cdog again. Good news, I will be finally posting videos this week! "Wow, this sounds a lot like the last post", but it is not. The funny thing is that my laptop immediately ceased working later that day, but just now, I got my desktop recording ready, so I am able to record videos on the desktop. The computer is better than my laptop, I never disconnect from servers and it runs well. Since I'm able to make videos, I will try to make Slender the Arrival tonight once it releases, but if not, tomorrow is perfect. I'm also going to play ExplodingTNT's server again, since the first one was highly successful and the server has gotten even more better! Just wait for that! I will only have Slender the Arrival this week along with YogBox and the server, so here's the schedule:

I'm Back!

Hey guys, it has been awhile. Good news is that my laptop kind of works now, the screen just showed up all the sudden, and it's still showing. Depending if it will continue to work or not, I can upload videos this week. Notably, Slender the Arrival is coming out on Tuesday (March 26) and that will be the first video of this week. Also, I'm going to start playing Minecraft Yogbox on the Technic Launcher since it's very funny and exciting. There is no schedule yet, since I'm not sure if the laptop will stay this way. Another Video Break

Hey guys! Unfortunately, I come with bad news. So apparently, yesterday while taking my laptop to my room, I dropped it down the stairs. So my laptop's display (AKA the screen display) is not working and it only works while it is hooked up onto my TV. Obviously, I can't make videos this way. and my desktop can't record videos as well, so it is going to be a while until I make another video. This is like the problem I had with the last laptop, but this MAY BE able to get fixed. Until then, I will not have another video, which it may effect with my video schedule, including when Slender the Arrival comes out on March 26. Sorry for the inconvenience. I hope I can have more videos sometime soon with a functioning laptop. Until then, goodbye.

Quake 3, Twitter, and Updates!

Hey guys! I just want you to know that I will be uploading Quake 3 videos soon, which is the game Urban Terror modded from. In this game, there are 8 tiers, 0-7, and I will be skipping Tiers 0 and 1 only beacause Tier 0 is a "tutorial" and Tier 1 isn't very exciting. Tier 2 is what I will be starting at, and from there play every map until I defeated them all, and I'll start uploading random Quake 3 videos. This Twitter is going to be used to get my channel out there, and provide an easier way to connect with subscribers and to provide another way to update you guys with new videos rather than this blog. Upcoming Horror Games

Hey guys! As you may know, I just beaten Slender the Arrival, so I am going to be playing other horror games. If you have any suggestions, go ahead and leave them in the comment section of this post or you can message me on YouTube. But for right now, I am going to be playing Slender games, starting tonight, I am going to be playing Slender Haunt 1.1, since I have not played it yet and I'm kind of interested in doing so. Slender the Arrival

Hey guys, I'm back! I'm here to tell you that I will be starting uploading soon actually, since Slender the Arrival Beta test came out and I got it. If you want it, you have to pre-order the game on the website. I'm thinking of recording and uploading this game probably later today. That will pretty much be the extent of my videos until later this week. This was just a short video on the next video. Expect the video in about a few hours. Until then, goodbye.

Video Break

Hey guys! As you may know, I'm delaying Minecraft videos until it is fixed, but now I'm also going to report that I will be taking a break from ALL videos for at least a week. I just want to get everything situated and set so that Minecraft will work again, and I will be free to make other videos. I will start playing more games if I can. I do feel up to suggestions and I may play more horror games that are kind of around if I feel up to it. That last sentence is also bolded so you know I'll take suggestions. When I do make more videos, they will be good content. I'll go back to the original let's play world, and maybe go back and forth between worlds. I am also planning making some videos with my friends if possible this weekend. If I manage to get them over this weekend, we'll record a variety of videos together for the future that will be uploaded later. I will also play more Slender, and going back to Minecraft, make more How-To's and try to show you stuff I build that may be worth showing. There will also be more types of Minecraft videos doing with PVP. Project Ares will still be uploaded, the Herobrine will be uploaded more, I'll start the Walls series, and do much more. The next video I'll upload will probably be a let's play depending if Minecraft works. If it doesn't, I'll do something else. This next video should also be uploaded about later next week or early the week after (Feb 17-20). Until then, goodbye!

Another Video Delay

Hey guys! I'm here to bring you some very bad news, unfortunately. My video making is going to be delayed for a while, since my Minecraft is currently at an awful state. It constantly crashes, runs out of memory, the Java Library keeps crashing, and no mobs will spawn. Every time I try to record a video, the Java Library crashes after 5 minutes, such as 4 takes I tried to record about 10 minutes ago. So I was going to have a video for you guys tonight, but can't since this keeps happening. I also can't play that game with my friends I made since it requires mobs, and none will spawn. Therefore, I can't record anything until all of this is fixed or reduced. Well, can't record any Minecraft that is. So I'm going to record other games, such as more Slender and Urban Terror, and I'm also going to start others such as Quake 3: Arena. There will be no Minecraft videos, however, until all of this is fixed. So until the next video, I will see you later!

I've been busy lately with school, since I have been through the high school scheduling process because I'm starting high school next year. Anyway, I'll at least upload videos the next two days. Slenderman's Shadow

Hey guys! As you may know, I just played one map from a game called Slenderman's Shadow, based on Mark Hadley's Slender. I will be playing these maps in the future, hoping to beat everyone (maybe). I have a schedule planned for these maps. I will be playing in order from Sanatorium to Christmas Special, with some others mixed between. Here is part of the schedule I have planned out:

The Future of My Videos

Hello guys! This is a very special post, considering I finally got myself a Skype account! It's about time. Since I got Skype, I will be able to record with other people including MrKnucklehead which I plan to do very soon. Also, this Saturday (maybe) I will apart of a "The Walls" competition being held by pianomanbd (Brett) and Ghosgar (Mike), in which if you don't know them, their channel will be below. Anyway, I was given permission to record my perspective during the contest AND also my video will be in the description of their video. So this means my video Saturday will have potential to get tons of views (I hope, considering this guy will probably have 1,000 views on this video, so I hope I get that many) and maybe some new fans. Urban Terror and This Weekend's Videos

Hey guys, I hope you had a Happy New Year a couple days ago, and as you may know, I uploaded my first Urban Terror video. I want you to know that I will upload Urban Terror videos every Wednesday, and I will sometimes play with friends such as MrKnucklehead (Grant) along with some other friends.
